How these guides are kept honest
Prices come from each vendor’s own pricing page and carry the date they were read. Where a vendor page and an app store listing disagree, the guide says so instead of picking one. Rankings and verdicts are not for sale. Tools that have closed or changed owner are tracked on our shut-down and renamed tools page.
Frequently asked questions
Does BagEngine only cover Amazon sellers?
No. Amazon is the largest part of the site, and it also has guides for Shopify stores, TikTok Shop, Etsy, Walmart Marketplace and eBay. This page lists them by channel.
Which guide should a new Shopify store start with?
Start with Best Shopify apps to increase sales for the category overview, then the review apps and email guides for the two jobs most stores buy an app for first. Each page carries its own pricing and the date it was read.
I sell on Shopify and Amazon. Where do I look?
The Shopify-to-Amazon sync tools guide compares eight tools for keeping listings and orders in step across the two channels.
Are the prices on these pages current?
Each page states when its prices were read. Several are dated October 2026; check the date on the page before you buy, because vendors change plans without notice.
Which sales channels are not covered yet?
There is no BagEngine guide yet for Temu, Shein or Facebook Marketplace sellers, or for Shopify themes and shipping apps as their own topic.
Bottom line
Pick the channel you sell on, open its guide, and check the date on the prices before you buy. If you sell in more than one place, the sync guide is the one that matters most, because tools that work on one channel often stop at the edge of it.
