We re-read 24 Amazon seller tool pricing pages in October 2026: 12 matched what we had published, 9 did not

In Amazon and Shopify tools, 8 of 11 pricing pages matched what we had published. In TikTok Shop and Etsy tools, 4 of 13 did. Here is every mismatch, with the vendor page we read.

The short answer

The count: we read 24 vendor pricing pages between 26 and 28 October 2026 and compared each with what BagEngine had published. 12 matched, 9 differed and 3 could not be verified.
The biggest gaps: AmzScout (one AI Bundle at $59.99 a month, and we could not find the lifetime license our review had quoted), FastMoss and Pipiads (both TikTok Shop tools, both mis-stated), and Sale Samurai ($19.99 a month, not $9.99).
The status changes: tikrank.com does not resolve, sellersprime.com is for sale, Sellermate is an Amazon PPC tool, and Kalodata's pricing now needs a sign-up.
What we did: corrected the pages, dated every re-read, and left every ranking where it was.

Where the misses were

The newer the category, the more often a published price was wrong. Amazon research and profit tools have stable, long-lived pricing pages; TikTok Shop and Etsy tools re-price, rebrand and disappear.

Every mismatch, vendor by vendor

Twelve rows: nine where the vendor's page disagreed with what we had published, and three we could not verify. Each links to the page we corrected.

The twelve that matched

Helium 10, SmartScout, SellerSprite, Sellerboard, SellerApp, TaxJar, Loox, Ryviu, Shoplus, EchoTik, eRank, Marmalead. For these, every figure on our pages agreed with the vendor's pricing page when we read it. That is a statement about the day we read it: prices on these pages move, and each of our pages carries its own read date.

How to check a price yourself

Check before you trust a price

Flip both billing toggles. Many pricing pages open on the annual price per month; the monthly price can be 20% to 60% higher. A range that mixes the two is wrong either way.
Separate list price from promotion. FastMoss, Pipiads and SellerSprite all showed a lower first-month or sale price beside a higher regular one on the day we read them.
Treat a sign-up wall as unknown, not unchanged. Kalodata's pricing page now redirects to registration; a price you cannot see is a price you cannot confirm.
Check the domain. A tool can move (Sale Samurai now lives at salesamurai.io; EtsyHunt became EHunt at ehunt.ai) or vanish (tikrank.com does not resolve; sellersprime.com is for sale).
Check what the product is. Sellermate's own site describes an Amazon PPC platform and never mentions TikTok Shop.

What we do when a page is wrong

We correct it in place, date the re-read in the page text, and say what changed instead of editing silently. A price read never changes a ranking: editorial rankings and verdicts are never for sale, and they are not rewritten to chase a price either. Where a vendor domain is dead or a product has changed, the page gets a dated status note and the old strengths and weaknesses are removed rather than left standing.

On 28 October 2026 AMZScout's pricing page and its PRO AI Extension page list one product, the AI Bundle, at $59.99 for one month, $169.99 for three months or $399.99 for twelve, plus a free trial of the extension. An earlier version of our review quoted lifetime prices that we could not confirm.

Are TikRank and SellersPrime still available?

We could not verify either. On 28 October 2026 tikrank.com did not resolve on two public DNS resolvers, and sellersprime.com redirected to a domain-for-sale page. Neither is recommended in our TikTok Shop guide until it can be verified.

How does BagEngine check a vendor price?

Each figure is read from the vendor's own pricing page, on both the monthly and the annual billing toggle where one exists, and dated in the page text. Where a page needs a sign-in, a promotion hides the list price, or the vendor domain has changed, we say so instead of guessing.

Bottom line

Half of the pricing pages we re-read matched, and the misses were concentrated where tools change fastest. The useful habit is not trust or distrust but dating: every figure here has a read date, a source and a way to check it. When a figure on a BagEngine page is older than the vendor's last change, this is what the correction looks like.
