Oklahoma Sweepstakes Casino Ban: What Happens to Your Sweeps Coins on November 1, 2026

Oklahoma's ban on dual-currency sweepstakes casinos takes effect on November 1, 2026. We read the terms, sweepstakes rules and help pages of 77 sweepstakes casinos to find out what each one has told Oklahoma players, and one question has almost no answers: what happens to the coins already in your account.

The short answer: of 77 sweepstakes casinos re-checked on October 10, 2026, two (Baba Casino and TurboStakes) have published what happens to Oklahoma players' coins. Baba Casino ends Sweeps Coin play and redemptions for Oklahoma after October 20, 2026, so its players have until then to request a redemption. TurboStakes makes Oklahoma accounts redemption only at 12:01 a.m. CT on November 1, and eligible Sweeps Coins must be redeemed by 11:59 p.m. CT on December 1. One more (MegaBonanza) now lists Oklahoma as excluded without saying what happens to balances. Two operators (Pulsz and Modo) treat Oklahoma as Gold Coin only. Ten still list Oklahoma as available, and 60 do not mention Oklahoma at all.

What changes on November 1, 2026

Oklahoma's SB 1589 amends 21 O.S. Sec. 941 to prohibit online casino games played with any representative of value, and the law defines that term to include a dual-currency system whose coins can be exchanged for prizes or cash. That is the model every sweepstakes casino uses: Gold Coins for play without prizes, and Sweeps Coins that can be redeemed. The governor vetoed the bill on May 7, 2026, the Senate and House overrode the veto on May 14, and the prohibition takes effect on November 1, 2026.

The law reaches past the operators. Section 941(B) names owners and employees, geolocation providers, gaming suppliers, platform providers, promoters and media affiliates who deal or provide support for those engaged in the game, and makes it a Class C2 felony. That breadth is why operators that keep serving Oklahoma players after November 1 are taking a risk on behalf of everyone around them, and why this page does not link to any operator that still offers Oklahoma play.

What each sweepstakes casino has published about Oklahoma

Most operators have said nothing. 60 of the 77 sweepstakes casinos we checked do not mention Oklahoma on any page we could read, and ten still list Oklahoma as a state where you can play. Only two have published a full exit, one now excludes Oklahoma without a plan for balances, and two have quietly moved Oklahoma to Gold Coin only. On October 19, MediaDunk confirmed by email that its six A1 Development brands (Funrize, NoLimitCoins, TaoFortune, FunzCity, Fortune Wheelz and StormRush) stop serving Oklahoma on November 1; their pages do not say so yet, so they stay counted as not mentioned.

The published exit terms, operator by operator

Two operators have told Oklahoma players exactly what happens to their accounts, and their terms show what every other operator's answer will need to cover. They are listed by deadline, earliest first.

Baba Casino

Its terms and conditions and sweepstakes rules, both updated October 5, 2026, carry a special notice that it will no longer offer its sweepstakes to persons located in Oklahoma or residents of Oklahoma, and set out the following.

This is the earliest deadline any operator has published, eleven days before the ban itself. Under these terms, a Baba Casino player in Oklahoma who has not requested a redemption by October 20 can no longer redeem the Sweeps Coins left in the account.

TurboStakes

Its terms of service version 2.8 and sweepstakes rules version 2.6, both effective September 29, 2026, set out the following.

The most consequential line is the forfeiture rule. A player whose balance sits below the minimum redemption amount, or who has not played through their coins, loses them on November 1 under these terms, before the 30-day redemption window even starts.

What Oklahoma players holding Sweeps Coins can do now

A player who holds redeemable Sweeps Coins is safest acting on what their own operator has published, because most operators have not published anything. These steps follow from the policies that exist and from how redemption works across the industry.

  1. If you hold Sweeps Coins at Baba Casino, request your redemption by October 20, 2026. After that date its terms say remaining Sweeps Coins can no longer be used or redeemed.
  2. Read your operator's current terms and help pages for Oklahoma. The date in our table tells you how old the page we read was; operators may update before November 1.
  3. Complete identity verification early. Nearly every operator requires it before a first redemption, and TurboStakes requires it inside its redemption window.
  4. Check your balance against the minimum redemption amount and the playthrough requirement. Under TurboStakes' terms, coins short of either on November 1 are forfeited.
  5. Keep a record of your balance and any redemption request, with dates.

This page reports what operators publish. It is not legal or financial advice, and it is not a recommendation to play or to buy coins.

What "Gold Coin only" means for Oklahoma players

Gold Coin only means the operator still lets Oklahoma players use its social casino with Gold Coins, but not Sweeps Coins, so there are no prizes to win from new play. Pulsz and Modo describe Oklahoma this way on pages dated October 1, 2026. Neither page we read says what happens to Sweeps Coins an Oklahoma player already holds, which is the question a Gold Coin only switch leaves open.

Why most operators have not said anything yet

We do not know why 60 operators are silent, and silence on a page is not proof of a policy. One pattern from our wider research is worth knowing: operators' own terms pages often lag their real state restrictions, so a page can still list a state the operator has already stopped serving, or omit one it has. We are asking each operator to confirm its Oklahoma plan, and any dated answer will appear in this table.

How we checked

We read each operator's own terms of service, sweepstakes rules and help-center pages while logged out on October 3, 2026, and re-checked them through October 10, 2026 (an operator whose page failed to load on the re-check keeps its earlier read date in the table), without creating accounts or contacting anyone, and recorded an Oklahoma status only where the operator stated it in so many words. The categories mean exactly this: Not mentioned means Oklahoma did not appear on any page we read, which is not proof the operator has no policy. Could not be read means a browser check blocked us, so the operator's position is unknown. The full method and our correction process are on the methodology page.

What this page does not tell you

This page records what operators publish, on the date shown. It does not tell you whether a particular operator will honor its terms, whether a court would read the statute the same way, or what an operator that has said nothing will do. Operators that publish a change after October 10, 2026 will show the older status here until our next weekly check.

Frequently asked questions

Are sweepstakes casinos legal in Oklahoma after November 1, 2026?

No. SB 1589 amends 21 O.S. Sec. 941 so that online casino games played with any representative of value, which the law defines to include a dual-currency system whose coins can be exchanged for prizes or cash, are prohibited from November 1, 2026. The veto was overridden on May 14, 2026.

What happens to my Sweeps Coins in Oklahoma?

It depends on the operator, and as of October 10, 2026 only two of 77 operators we checked had said. Baba Casino lets Oklahoma players play and submit redemption requests through October 20, 2026; from October 21, remaining Sweeps Coins can no longer be used or redeemed. TurboStakes makes Oklahoma accounts redemption only from 12:01 a.m. CT on November 1, forfeits Sweeps Coins that have not met its minimum or playthrough by then, and sets a redemption deadline of 11:59 p.m. CT on December 1, 2026. The other operators have not published a policy for existing balances.

Which casinos have switched Oklahoma to Gold Coin only?

Pulsz and Modo. Both describe Oklahoma as a Gold Coin only state on their own pages, which means Sweeps Coin play is not offered there. Neither page says what happens to Sweeps Coins an Oklahoma player already holds.

Which casinos still list Oklahoma as available?

As of October 10, 2026, ten operators still listed Oklahoma as an available state on their own pages: McLuck, Hello Millions, SpinBlitz, Jackpota, High 5 Casino, MyPrize, Ruby Sweeps, Thrillzz, Acebet.cc, SplashCoins. Those pages may be updated before November 1, and the date of each page is shown in the table.

Who else does the Oklahoma law cover besides casino operators?

Section 941(B) names owners and employees, geolocation providers, gaming suppliers, platform providers, promoters and media affiliates who deal or provide support for those engaged in the game. It is a Class C2 felony.

How did you check what each casino says?

We read each operator's own terms of service, sweepstakes rules and help-center pages while logged out on October 3, 2026, and recorded an Oklahoma status only where the operator stated it in so many words. Those pages are captured again automatically and compared with the previous capture; the latest re-check was October 10, 2026, and each row shows the date its pages were last read. The full method is on our methodology page.
